Will self-hosting ever cost money?
No. The MIT repo is the whole product, and anything that ships there stays MIT.
What will managed hosting cost?
Undecided. I announce it at launch, and waitlist members hear first.
Can I move between the two?
Yes. Every artifact is a directory of plain files, so exporting a hosted instance into a self-host install is a copy, not a migration.
